cheaper; Barbara said it was easier for the dog, but it was a
longer ride into town for shopping.

Camp site, no sun, not too happy on it here, long way to
town. Washing €4 Good internet, spent a lot of time on 2B's pitch
where
there was some sun. Internet. Charge + tax! €48.50

remembered as roundabout. Didn't recognise Calpe at all, all high
rises. Did walk to prom.

Amalfra Camp site. Barbara gave me camping cheques €30.
Swimming was €4.50 for swim, sauna, steam room, ok until loud
music started for aquarobics! NCC had meet here at Xmas.

town!

by domestic at 5am in private car! Old port CP.

Don’t visit on Sundays. No parking. Big market on route. Good road
to Valencia via inland route. 200 kms to El Saler. Good new road.

then bike ride nearly to Valencia.

by bus to Valencia. Saw historic Station, got back on bus to
Science Park roamed around, a bit soporific, modern buildings. Back
on bus, needed map which we found later in office! €45 three
nights.

toilet paper, no toilets! Not nice.

Up to Navajas. Found space then went on journey and up very
narrow street, had to reverse out, led by very lovely Spanish
gentleman on scooter! Navajas that way he jesticulated. Found car park by
lakeside.

in town walked to Salto de la Novia waterfalls and springs. Down
road up river, back of town. Back to dam.

Found camp on old marina car park.
Travellers,
backwards and forwards. Very windy. Bike ride into port looked at
marina, shops etc.

market. Tenant called to say he was moving on 28/3. No concept of
how that sounded to me. Another night with travellers buzzing out to
toilet, or something.

Maissoc. Lovely place found another aire too. Decorated plaster
walls in church. No camera!

said we could walk up path to town, no parking there.

birthday. Good day to walk up, not all steps. Brilliant, we even got
to top of rock. Back about lunch time, carried on after lunch to
Vers. Low overhanging mountain on road down to 2.9m

Aire free, but April to Sept €5 there were toilets but it needed
tidying up. Heard bells of church from 4am and thought I heard
shooting and voices. No, there was a fire at 4.30 and I didn't get
up to look. Barbara told me in morning. Felt guilty, I heard the
bells till 8 am. Left 2B's around Soulliac
